21/05/2022 – An off-duty military police officer suffered an attempted robbery by two criminals in Cambuci, Central Region. He reacted and shot one of the suspects, but the other managed to escape. The confrontation left a woman with a toddler in the middle of a gunfight.
22/05/2022 – One suspect died, and another was arrested after an attempted robbery in the Morumbi neighborhood, South Zone.
22/05/2022 – A shootout happened in a beverage distributor located in Perus, in the north Zone of São Paulo. A criminal tried to rob the facility and pulled his gun out, but the owner did the same and the two exchanged shots. An employee was shot in the stomach and the criminals fled.
24/05/2022 – A young man was stabbed in the hand during an attempted robbery at the Trianon-Maso metro station, exiting on Avenida Paulista, in the West Zone of Sao Paulo.

24/05/2022 – A 28-year-old shopkeeper was shot by criminals on a motorcycle that approached him. His girlfriend who was next to him was not seriously injured. The criminals escaped. The police is trying to identify them thanks to monitoring cameras.
24/05/2022 – Two men and a woman, accused of committing scams were arrested by the police in Jaçanã, in the North Zone of Sao Paulo after an anonymous person denounced them. They scammed the victims pretending they were bank employees and cloned the information they were given. They would then create false identity documents with real data, but with the photo of a member of the gang. They pretended then to be the person indicated on the identity document and made purchases with the victims’ cards and accounts.
25/05/2022 – A woman was held hostage by a criminal inside her own car. After a pursuit of more than ten kilometers through the south of São Paulo, the police arrested the kidnapper and released the hostage.
25/05/2022 – Five armed criminals robbed a jewellery store in the Sacomã neighbourhood, in the South Zone. They took watches and jewellery and fled across the parking lot.

25/05/2022 – Two men were shot dead in front of a winery in the Campo Limpo neighborhood, in the South Zone of Sao Paulo. Two other people were also hit and taken to the hospital. The police believes that the reason for the murders is a feud between two criminal factions.
26/05/2022 – The police found two dead bodies with signs of hanging, in the region of Parque do Carmo, in the East Zone of Sao Paulo. The men were wrapped in plastic bags and were left near the park at dawn. 27/05/2022 – An 88-year-old woman was tortured in robbery at her home, in Vila Alpina, in the East Zone of São Paulo, at dawn. Criminals beat the victim and cut off two fingers of the woman. The suspects tried to escape when the police arrived, but they were caught. The police seized monitors, an Xbox, watches, money, speakers, and several cell phones inside the stolen car of the criminals.
