18/03/2023 – A teenager was killed after trying to rob a military police officer, on Rua Imbaçal, in Itaquera, East Zone. According to the incident report, the military police officer was off duty on his motorcycle with a friend when two men, on another motorcycle, approached and announced the robbery. The officer reacted and hit the 16-year-old teenager.

20/03/2023 – Robbers stole equipment and a motorcycle from a Record TV team. At 4:54 am, two professionals from the station were passing through the Campo Grande neighborhood, South Zone, when they were approached by an armed duo.
21/03/2023 – A gang invaded the parking lot of a hotel in Brooklin, South Zone, and stole three luxury vehicles. One criminal was arrested, and two vehicles were recovered. According to the Military Police, about four criminals arrived at the scene and identified themselves as customers. When they managed to enter the parking lot, the group surrendered the employees. They even stole several of the workers’ personal belongings. After the crime, the Military Police were called and informed about the tracking of one of the cell phones taken by the gang. With this information, it was possible to locate one of the criminals and the cars.
21/03/2023 – Six men were arrested for involvement in the kidnapping of a realtor, in Jaraguá, North Zone. According to the Civil Police, the 26-year-old victim went out on a date, scheduled by a dating app on Monday (20) and was kidnapped. The criminals then contacted the victim’s wife via his cell phone. They sent proof that the broker was alive and charged a payment of between R$20,000 and R$30,000 to release him. The wife went to the police. The realtor was located and rescued, and the criminals arrested.
22/03/2023 – Six criminals were arrested after holding a family hostage on Rua Padre Pedro Rota, in Vila Alpina, East Zone. According to the Military Police, around 1:30 am the gang arrived at the address and entered the house, announcing the robbery and surrendering the victims. The family consisted of a couple, their two-year-old son, and an elderly woman. All were tied up and threatened by the criminals, who were armed. Neighbors noticed the strange movement and called the police.
22/03/2023 – Criminals stole a car in the neighborhood of Perdizes, West Zone. The next day, the victim posted on social media about the theft and the criminals got in touch asking for money to return the car.
22/03/2023 – A gang specializing in bank robbery was arrested by the Civil Police. This gang is investigated for robbing bank branches but, not in the traditional way with the group invading the branch and taking the money, they surrendered agency employees and forced them to make bank transfers to the accounts of members of the gang.
23/03/2023 – A woman was making a deposit money at a bank in Capão Redondo, South Zone, when a man approached her and announced a robbery. She reacted and got into a fight with the criminal. In the end she was knocked down and assaulted by him. The criminal fled but was arrested shortly after by the police. Other women recognized him, and the police believe he has already committed several robberies of this type around the city.
23/03/2023 – A 13-year-old boy was beaten by at least ten classmates inside his classroom at a school in the Vila Mariana neighborhood, South Zone. The attacks occurred during the break between classes. In a note, the Department of Education explained that the parents of the attacked student were called to dialogue, protect, and take measures in a mediation action with the other students involved, guardians and the school community.
