12/05/2022 – Two men were arrested after stealing wires at a state school in Encruzilhada. Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) teams were on patrol around the region when they identified the criminals carrying a box with copper electrical wires.
16/05/2022 – A 29-year-old man, member of a criminal organization that steals cargo from trains in Baixada Santista, was arrested. He was on the run from justice. The action was part of Operation Baixada Segura carried out by the Civil Police in all cities of Baixada Santista. In all, ten people were arrested. Officers also located 20 tons of soybeans stolen from trains, as well as 411 pins of synthetic marijuana, the drug K9.
17/05/2022 – The Federal Police (PF) seized more than a ton of cocaine in the Port of Santos. The drug was found in a container with metal blades. According to the PF, the final destination of the drug was the Port of Antwerp, in Belgium. The seizure had the support of the Federal Revenue Service.
