23/12/2022 – Former coach of the Brazilian national football team, Tite, was robbed in the Barra da Tijuca beach, West Zone. The crime occurred when he was walking with his wife, around 7h between stations 5 and 6 on the beach promenade. At the time, a criminal on a bicycle who was pedaling at high speed in the opposite direction pulled his necklace and fled.

23/12/2022 – A criminal invaded a building, broke into an apartment, and left with a 42-inch TV in his hand on Rua Serafim Valandro, in the Botafogo neighborhood, South Zone. Images of the internal circuit showed all his action. Still on the street, he seems to force the lock until it opens, and he enters the building. Just over half an hour after breaking into the building, he appears on the way out, protecting the stolen television in a cloth. With his backpack on his back, he leaves the building quietly.
24/12/2022 – Officers from the Police Station for Repression of Organized Criminal Actions and Special Inquiries (Draco) arrested the militiaman known as Jhon Jhon. He is one of the main agents of the militia that operates in Campo Grande, in the West Zone. According to the Police, the criminal has three arrest warrants, for murder and criminal association. Cell phones, weapons and ammunition were seized from him.
24/12/2022 – A police chief was shot in an attempted robbery in Madureira, North Zone. He was shot twice, one in the right foot and one in the hip. The civil police officer was driving in his car on the lane towards Madureira on Avenida Ministro Edgard Romero when the vehicle was approached by criminals who were taking advantage of a traffic jam to rob drivers.
25/12/2022 – A man was shot on the Linha Vermelha while driving along the expressway. According to the Military Police, he was hit in the arm near the Caju neighborhood, in the port region of Rio. At the time he was hit, there was no operation or occurrence of the Military Police in the region.
26/12/2022 – A businessman was killed in the Beira Rio community, in the Recreio dos Bandeirantes neighborhood, West Zone. He was approached by men in a white car after parking, when he got out of the car, he was hit by several shots. Three men were arrested by military police, two of whom were police officers.
27/12/2022 – A homeless man was shot in the Copacabana neighborhood, South Zone, during a shooting. It all started when a man reacted to an attempted robbery at a commercial establishment. According to the Military Police, there was a shooting between the criminals and the man who reacted to the attempted robbery. The criminals fled before the police arrived.
27/12/2022 – A shooting in the Serrinha Community, in Madureira, North Zone, left one person dead. The victim was shot when he was walking his dog on Rua Américo Vespúcio. The Military Police said that police officers acted to curb criminal movements that interfered with the free movement of the population, in addition to being related to cargo and vehicle thefts in the region and that criminals shot at police officers, who reacted.
28/12/2022 – A man was shot and killed on Avenida Santa Cruz, in Bangu, West Zone. He owned the jewelry store and, according to witnesses, was opening the store when a man got out of a car and shot. According to the Military Police, nothing was taken from the victim’s establishment.
28/12/2022 – A criminal who stole a car at Aterro do Flamengo was killed after a shooting and pursuit by the Military Police to the Rio Bus Station, in the Port Zone. According to the PM, two men on a motorcycle stole a vehicle, and one of them got into the victim’s car. Another accomplice followed him on a motorcycle when they were approached by police. During the shooting, the criminal driving the car lost control and crashed into two vehicles. According to investigations, the group carried out robberies in the region close to Santos Dumont Airport, in the South Zone of the city.
29/12/2022 – Two women were found dead in the Rocinha Community, South Zone. The bodies were in a house in the community area known as Camisa Suja. According to the first information, a body was found in the bed and another in the bathroom of the property.
