17/03/2023 – Two men involved with drug trafficking died in a shooting with Military Police (PM) in the Areal neighborhood. The Military Police went to the address to make a routine round. Upon arriving at the scene, officers were met with gunfire and fought back. After the shooting ended, criminals fled through nearby streets. During searches of the area, the PM found the two men shot. Two guns and a large amount of drugs were seized.
22/03/2023 – Six people, three men, two women and a 16-year-old teenager, were caught with a pistol, a grenade and drugs while driving along the Rio-Santos Highway (BR-101). The approach took place during an inspection by the Federal Highway Police (PRF). According to the PRF, the driver tried to circumvent the line of vehicles to escape inspection. The movement was noticed by officers, who then stopped the car.
22/03/2023 – A man involved in drug trafficking died after a shooting with the Military Police in the Sapinhatuba ll neighborhood. According to the Military Police (PM), officers were on patrol around the place when they were shot at by criminals and fought back. At the end of the shooting, the PM found the criminal lying on the ground. In addition to the pistol seized from the criminal, at the scene crack, cocaine, five intact ammunition, a charger and two communicators were also found.
