10/06/2022 – A 38-year-old male suspected of sexually abusing his daughters was arrested. According to the Police Station Specialized in Assistance to Women (Deam), the crime had been taking place for at least two years. The investigations began in May this year, after the girls’ aunt reported the suspect.
13/06/2022 – Three minors, aged 15, 14 and 13, were detained for threatening parents and students with a fake pistol in a city school in the Japuíba neighborhood. According to Military Police, the unit’s director called the agents and told them that there were students carrying a weapon and making threats. The parents were called and taken together with their children to the police station.
16/06/2022 – A man was shot dead on BR-101 (Rodovia Rio-Santos). The crime took place near the Água Santa neighborhood. According to the Federal Highway Police, the victim was hit by several shots.
