Seeking to monitor the police routine in patrols or operations, criminals from Morro do Santo Antônio set up a cable TV center and installed several cameras throughout the community. On Saturday (04/06), police carried out an operation that culminated in the dismantling of the organized crime monitoring center. A television, five high-resolution cameras, routers and a radio communicator were seized. A man and a woman were arrested.

03/06/2022 – A 16-year-old teenager was shot during an exchange of fire between civil police officers and suspects in the locality known as Caixa D’água, in the central region of the city. The confrontation occurred when police were checking a drug trafficking report at the scene. Suspects fired, and agents retaliated. In the end, the suspects fled leaving behind a large tablet of marijuana, 580 cocaine capsules and a communicator.
