16/07/2022 – An intense shooting between criminals and Military Police (PM) ended with one dead and two shot, including a police officer, in the Areal neighborhood. According to the police, officers were doing routine patrolling at the address. As soon as they arrived at the scene, they were met with gunfire and retaliated.
20/07/2022 – A 32-year-old man suspected of raping his 8-year-old former stepdaughter was arrested. According to the Police Specialized in Assistance to Women (Deam), the accused forced the child to take a shower with him every time her mother was not home. During the shower, he caressed the girl and practiced various libidinous acts.
