Various sexual and violent crimes continue to emerge on the Discord platform. On 7 July, the Federal Police apprehended a teenager suspected of aggression on the Discord gaming platform and on the TikTok social network. The apprehension took place in Espírito Santo. The platform is involved in several complaints against groups that promote content involving sexual exploitation, pedophilia, self-mutilation, racism, animal abuse and incitement to murder, in addition to leaking secret information, like one from the US about the war in Ukraine.

The Discord
Discord is an online application popular with young people and video game players. It works as a platform for text, voice and video conversations. The system created in 2015 became popular for chatting during online games, in a user base of adults and people under 18 years old, without distinction or barriers.
Rape, Pedophilia, Pornography, Racism, Nazism and More
In June, Globo TV Channel revealed cases of Brazilian Discord users who raped and humiliated underage girls in live broadcasts.
On 4 July, the second phase of the Dark Room operation took place in Rio de Janeiro. The mission is being carried out by the Civil Police against crimes committed through Discord. A 19-year-ol man was arrested on suspicion of criminal association and rape of a vulnerable person. He is also suspected of selling and storing photos, videos or other data with juvenile pornography.
Dark Room operation began in March, after the sharing of intelligence data between the Federal Police and the Civil Police. According to investigations, the platform is being used by a group of young people and teenagers from various regions of the country to commit acts of extreme violence against animals and other teenagers, in addition to publicizing pedophilia, zoophilia and making open apologies for racism, Nazism and misogyny.
On 27 June, two teenagers, aged 14 and 17, had already been apprehended on suspicion of participating in child pornography groups.
Leaking Classified Information
The platform has even been used to leak classified information. In April, a volunteer moderator on a Discord group posted images of leaked documents detailing secret Pentagon information. The information detailed national security secrets linked to various US adversaries, including Russia and China, as well as allies such as Ukraine and South Korea.
