On Tuesday (26/07), during the conference, Defense Minister Paulo Sérgio Nogueira said that he respects the Inter-American Democratic Charter. On Thursday (28/07), he signed the “Brasilia Declaration”, which reinforces the Democratic Charter and recognizes, for example, the “commitment to continue promoting and strengthening peace in the Hemisphere”.
