According to data released by the Health Secretaries National Council (Conass) and the Health Ministry, during the 161st (29 January to 04 February) epidemiological week, the number of new Covid-19 confirmed cases in Brazil decreased by 2.40% when compared to the 160th (22 to 28 January) week. In terms of deaths of patients with Covid-19, a 19.88% increase was registered while compared to the 160th week.
According to information released by the Our World in Data webpage on Sunday (05/02), Brazil has 175.61 million people fully vaccinated or 81.56% of its total population.
